just another reason to love southern idaho.  well alright, i guess it’s okay in the spring.  the boys think it’s heavenly.

(tractor papa’s new 4-wheeler is an added bonus.)

and marc always weirds me out the way he blends naturally into his ancestral environment.  “honey, is it just me or are you looking a little redneck?”

we went out to set pipe and grandpa was turning the water on for the first time this spring.  the boys were waiting in eager expectation for rock chucks.  unfortunately the dog beat them to the only one and they didn’t get to pelt it with giant rocks.  although daddy did have to finish it off with the shovel…

later boy took me on a romantic motorcycle ride to his favorite childhood spot along the canal.  i told him it looked dangerous.  what was his mother thinking?  who would let their children play out here?

not to mention, someone is bound to get dirty.

that was actually my favorite spot too. followed by the top of the rotting cow shed. such a fun place to grow up and get tetanus shots.

looks like you had a marvelous time. did you actually shoot the gun. you look so natural, kind of like wearing a purse. yep looks like the boys are in paradise. and it kind of looks like home. you would just like everyone to think you are a city slicker.

That was sorta my favorite place, too. I always wanted to build a house across the canal in that little field.

mum – nope, didn’t shoot the gun. i was holding it for ric. he was going to set up targets for me but i figured i should wait until i can see (the kids did a nice number on my glasses.)

gayla – don’t worry, there’s still time! i’ll have marc draw up the plans.
