look what i got

i’ve always had this set of trivia cards knocking around, so i finally went on ebay and found the board game that went with them. all you folks who are going camping with me next weekend better buff up on your bible trivia before all the fun starts.

truth.jpg

the reason i wanted the game was because it kicks my ass. this isn’t “how many days was jonah in the belly of the whale?”, this is “are you mad? i don’t know when the first australian-born anglican archbishop was elected to the diocese of sydney.”

other favorite questions include:

“what was the main center of montanism in the 2nd and 3rd centuries?”

“where in france did charles martel win the decisive battle against the islamic invasion of the west in ad 732?”

“what is another name for modalistic monarchianism?”

fortunately, there is an easier set of cards so we can actually play the game:

“what is not absent when words are many?”

“what did jesus say the flesh counts for?”

“what king of israel once pretended to be insane?”

“was peter married, single or does the bible not say?”

comment if you know any of the answers, i’ll post them later. right now i’m off to yard sale. how exciting.

What did you find at the yardsales? Anything fun? It’s beautful here in Seattle. Felt like a cool, spring day yesterday. I need new pictures of my boys to wow the relatives with.
