this is the pillow i made for my mum. i finished the cross-stitch years ago (i am never doing counted cross-stitch again, by the way) and finally put it on a pillow. unfortunately i mailed it before i took a picture of it, so this is a mite late.

kandi gave me a bag of scraps which turned out to be the perfect colors for the background. how handy is that? in any case, i’m glad it’s over with. piecing is a form of purgatory and cross-stitch isn’t any better. gee, the things i do for fun.

Let’s go back a post or two. Those shoes are the sweetest. Everyone else can shuffle around in their Kenneth Cole.

Those paintings! I’ve seen them somewhere…but where? They are so creepy. What is the fascination he has with Lincoln? Weird with a beard, no pun intended.

I finally emailed you back. The shame. The glory.
    Will write again.

I just followed your comment from Evan Wilson’s blog and looking through your archives figured out you were a fellow Boisean (the house pictures gave you away). I like the one on Roosevelt too. So…Greetings!
