Here is the Martha’s cupcake (altered some by me) recipe which I made Sunday and everyone seemed to like:
    Makes 12
Beat 1 stick butter and 1 c sugar till light and fluffy. Add 2 large eggs, one at a time. Add 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 t salt, and beat till smooth, then add 1 c whole milk (I used cream)and 1 t. vanilla. Then, stir in 1 pt fresh raspberries.
Put in lined muffin tins, bake at 350. When done, tops will spring back when touched with finger. Cool. Frost with 1 c. confectioner’s sugar, 1/2 stick butter, 8oz cream cheese, and 1 t vanilla flavoring.
