i wanted to share the most wonderful present my sister got our family for christmas. she’s nice like that. but you cracked the top open and the first thing that hit you was the smell of lavender from the sachets she made.
then there were all the different textures, old things, carved things, sewn things, found things. my brother turned these tops on his lathe with different kinds of wood. they work beautifully too.
natalie found me the pearls who knows where. but now i think i need to wear them more often. (i’m thinking every day.)
she found gideon this vintage book. classic boy adventure books are the bomb. back when all the stalwart 15 year olds were packin’.
and two secret boxes for the boys. for treasures.
two octopi for the girls.
sachets for the ladies.
and homemade matching aprons for jael and habbers.
