back to where we started

my house is a disaster. i packed up half of what we owned to take a trip north this weekend and now it is dumped, most unceremoniously, in the middle of the living room. it is time to divide and conquer. but first i thought i would throw up some pictures from our trip. and here are the boys looking out over payette lake.

we probably won’t be taking any more trips for a while. jael traveled like a small, hog-tied demon. next time, we make them come to us.

So, you’re not coming for Jennifer’s graduation party this Saturday?

Jael sounds like a handful. :) When my kids were little I traveled at night as often as possible. Peace was sweet. Coffee was black and strong…plenty of it. :)

I hope you get some creating time this week…

I’m getting ready to refurbish a vintage hamper which otherwise would be destined for the dump. Your finished project inspired me…I’m still in the visualizing stage trying to decide how I want it to look.

Hope your little brother’s graduation was worth the mess you have awaiting you.

gayla – i don’t think so. boy wanted to go to the green expo downtown.

judy – i’m afraid us old folks here can’t stay up past 10:00. eight o’clock if it’s already dark. otherwise that would certainly be the way to fly. as for creating time, i’m looking forward to painting the basement this week. not very exciting. especially since it’s the second coat and you won’t be able to tell that i’ve done anything.
